-Focus on universal childcare and early childhood education

-Advocate for tuition-free public college and trade school

-Deliver meaningful federal student loan forgiveness

HEALTHCARE IS A HUMAN RIGHT.

I support universal coverage through a Medicare for All–style system that guarantees comprehensive care—medical, dental, vision, reproductive, and mental health—without financial barriers.

-I will defend women, the LGBTQ+ community, immigrants, and other vulnerable communities from politically motivated attacks on their access to care

-Ensure federal healthcare decisions are grounded in science and the expertise of medical professionals

-I will work to strengthen local healthcare infrastructure so families in our district can access high-quality care close to home with a well-trained and unionized healthcare workforce

I WILL FIGHT TO RESTORE & PROTECT OUR DEMOCRACY

-Curbing unchecked executive power

-Reasserting Congress’ constitutional role as a co-equal branch of government.

-Passing the John Lewis Voting Rights Act to fully restore the Voting Rights Act’s protections

-Blocking new voter suppression efforts such as the SAVE Act

-Ensuring every eligible American can register and cast a ballot without intimidation or unnecessary barriers

HUMANE & ACCOUNTABLE IMMIGRATION POLICIES

Our immigration system must reflect our values: fairness, dignity, and opportunity. We must prioritize public safety while keeping families together and respecting due process.

-I support abolishing ICE

-I will work to pass the DREAM Act to provide permanent protections for Dreamers

-Modernize and streamline legal immigration pathways so they are accessible and transparent

-Advance reforms that recognize immigrants as essential contributors to our economy and communities rather than political scapegoats

I WILL DEFEND OUR FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO PRIVACY

-Pushing back against the expansion of warrantless surveillance

-Limiting unchecked growth of the national security state, ensuring our civil liberties are protected in the digital age

AGRICULTURAL ECONOMY & WATER SECURITY

Climate change poses a clear and present danger to our district—from devastating wildfires to prolonged droughts that threaten our agricultural economy and water security.

-I will work to undo Trump-era climate rollbacks that weakened environmental protections and put communities at risk

-Accelerate a just transition to a clean energy, pollution-free economy built on high-paying union jobs

-I support passing the Environmental Justice for All Act to protect neighborhoods disproportionately burdened by toxic exposure and environmental degradation

-Preserving our open space and coastal resources

-Aggressively accelerating cleanup at federally designated contamination sites such as Halaco, the Pacific Coast Pipeline corridor, and the Santa Susana Field Laboratory
